Training department

The training department has 5 full time journalism teachers and one computer expert.
Activities of this department concentrate on the long-term journalism course (diploma course), which is provided for college or university graduates who wish to work in the journalism industry. In addition to the diploma course, short-term training courses are provided addressing industry journalists as well as people who wish to acquire basic knowledge on journalism or basic computer skills including Internet training and digital editing.
The training department assists the journalists and media employees in improving their qualifications through activities of the journalism clubs focusing on economic, political, legal and environmental issues. The magazine "Journalist" published by PI journalism trainers, plays an important role as a forum for exchange of experiences and new information.
The computer center has been serving journalists and journalism students, providing a possibility for Internet access at reduced rates, layout service for local and regional newspapers and computer training courses on demand.
The TV and radio studios are used for training courses, but they also provide services such as shooting, dubbing, mixing and editing.
